Solaris (Avicii Greets Joia Mix)- Roman Salzger

This song was just okay. I appreciated the level of production that went into it, and I do like the heaviness of the kick, but the track overall... it didn't really wow me. I'm finding that a lot of these early songs don't "wow" me as much as I thought they would, but I guess even Tim wasn't a complete music genius from the start.

Although this song didn't really impress me, I could hear many elements of the "Avicii" style starting to come through. We all know those signature white noise risers/crashes/downlifters Tim used throughout his career, and those begin to appear in this song. It's just very interesting to hear those stylistic choices be used in a song this early on in his discography.

I would give this a four out of ten. It was very well done, but I didn't find anything I particularly loved about it.
